The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is an exfoliating toner designed to gently remove dead skin cells, promoting the appearance of a brighter and more even skin tone. This formulation also helps improve skin texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines.
The Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution can be used once daily, ideally in your PM routine. However, if you are new to chemical exfoliants or direct acids, it’s recommended that you start with 2-3 times a week and gradually increase the frequency as your skin builds tolerance.
Do not use the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution with other direct acids (like salicylic acid) or strong retinoids in the same routine, as this can increase the risk of irritation. Instead, alternate use or use one set of formulations in the AM and the other in the PM.
We do not recommend using this formulation on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. If you have concerns about sensitivity, consider doing a patch test before full application.
